Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, is a legend across the screens. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. It wasn't long before she relocated to Texas. She began a career as a physical therapist. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas prior to moving to Florida, Orlando. She was in Orlando for a range of roles including local independent films and world-wide commercials. She quickly found her passion in the field of acting even in small roles. She moved to New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of the decade She appeared on small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first big-screen series aired on The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to star alongside some top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her role most famous for was the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards, including Best Supporting Actress for TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she won the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She was cast as Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. The show was later cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is born of Italian descent and also has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Her family was an orthodox, religious family. Milano's professional career started at seven, when her babysitter invited her to a talent show. Four of the four girls chosen among over a thousand hopefuls were chosen by Milano. Milano was featured in television advertisements, off-Broadway productions and Jane Eyre, the American premier of Jane Eyre.
